"The Community of Caring program has been a wonderful addition to our school. The feeling in our school is so positive - not only with our students, but with staff and parents. So many staff members have embraced the core values and are weaving those values into various curriculum areas and activities. As principal, I feel that our school community has come together because of the implementation of Community of Caring."

"The success of this program within our school district has spread to many areas in the province of Alberta...Records of school suspensions and the incidents of bullying and other violent behaviors have decreased in one year. The among of parental involvement, student attendance in school and the number of service learning experiences have all increased. Academically, students improved in the areas of social studies and language arts. We feel that providing students with opportunities to discuss values in the classroom, particularly in how it relates to the curriculum, and practicing these values on a daily basis throughout all aspects of school life, has had a profound positive impact on the school culture and its climate."
